NEED MOAR LYRICS PLS

So I'm about to head off to bed (Oh yes, sleep, I'm coming for you) but I spent most of this night finding good songs and writing down the lyrics that really made me feel good, or that I thought held a special significant meaning to me or to me and other people, etc.

So guys! If you have any songs, any lyrics, send them this way! Anything at all. I'll take whatever you can dish out. I need to fill this whole book with things to get me through tough times, so why not start with lyrics from good songs?

Don't be shy! And don't hesitate if it is in a different language. Already got two of those down. xD Now...night.

Lyrics? I know a few. How many you want babes? What sorta songs? *grinz* I get through my life with music for the most part, so I know fast songs for anger, slow ones for sad, funny for happy. Eh, you get the idea nah?

I'm gonna go on a lyric hunt now regardless, but will leave you with one of my fave for when I'm annoyed at someone.

Beautiful South.
Deal with you Later.

Liberations come and go,
But we just have to wait,
The time is nigh to sit and plot,
Exactly who you hate.

Sirens in the neighbourhood,
The gun must be misunderstood,
A warden in a pool of blood,
The palace laugh and so they should.
So they should.

Across the world in every coup,
A thousand guns without a clue,
If only all the people knew,
They've got their sights set up on you.

Every war is always cursed,
With just who do you shoot at first,
Think real hard and think Sandhurst,
Take an officer he's the worst,
He's the worst.

Revolutions rise and fall,
But royaltys still there,
Don't matter if it's Queen or Duke,
Try scything down the pair.

And if you think the palace staff,
Is Devil's advocator,
Just put them in an incubator and we'll
Deal with them later.

Just a little bit later.

Just put them in an incubator and we'll,
Deal with them later,
Just throw them to the alligators and we'll,
Deal with them later.
So be wary of the liquidator 'cos we'll,
Deal with you later,
Just put them in a liquidator and we'll,
Deal with you later.

'Course, if you want something more amusing, I'll look up my Tom Leherer, Tom Paxton, Sean Morey for you. That's bound to get something. For now though, one more from Beautiful South.

I've seen these people described as mad
But find men kissing too odd
Say all their friends are gay when in fact
They gave a man in tight vest a quick nod

And all those threats if you keep kissing
They're gonna go report you to god
Yet if Christ really had that many disciples
There was probably one of you in his squad

And any news you receive would lead you to believe
Of the other world little is known
So that every gay presenter should really wear a sweater
With kids don't try this at home

There are gay men you've knocked homophobics clean out
When most would have turned and ran
Gay men who hate it when they get called queer
And gay men who don't give a damn
Some gay men go wearing women's makeup
Just to prove to themselves they can
And on the masculine side of this whole wide world
There is no 101% man

Those who have only seen Gay Pride
Think it's a life long license to shock
But men have kissed men since way back when
If you were caught you'd be put in a stock

And any news you receive would lead you to believe
Of the other world little is known
So that every gay presenter should really wear a sweater
With kids don't try this at home

There are gay men who've knocked homophobics clean out
When most would have turned and ran
Gay men who hate it when they get called queer
And gay men who don't give a damn
Some gay men go wearing women's makeup
Just to prove to themselves they can
And on the masculine side of this whole wide world
There's no 101% man

And when the Tom Robinson band sang
"Sing if you're glad to be gay"
We all joined in, and though most of us weren't
The song seemed to show us the way

And as the song reached it's end you looked for the friend that
That made singing along feel O.K
It ain't San Francisco but your end of term disco
And the dance floor's beginning to sway

There are gay who've knocked homophobices clean out
When most would have turned and ran
Gay men who hate it when they get called queer
And gay men who don't give a damn

Some gay men go wearing women's makeup
Just to prove to themselves they can
And on the masculine side of this whole wide world
There's no 101% man
